….. says leadership must listen, act and deliver for the people
Alhaji Hassan Bello, popularly known as Hassano, has restated his commitment to purposeful leadership, unity, and grassroots development as he seeks the chairmanship of Ibadan South West Local Government.
Describing leadership as a call to service rather than a mere position, Hassano said his aspiration is anchored on integrity, dedication, and a proven record of community engagement.
“Leadership is not just about holding a position, it is about service, vision, and impact,” he said in a statement made available to the Nigerian Tribune on Monday.
Hassano noted that his understanding of the needs of the people of IBSW places him in a strong position to deliver transparent and inclusive governance if elected. He listed growth, inclusiveness, and accountability as the core pillars of his agenda for the council.
“With a clear understanding of the needs of the people, I am prepared to bring purposeful leadership, unity, and development to IBSW. My passion for growth, inclusiveness, and transparency sets me apart,” he stated.
The chairmanship hopeful said his vision is to build a local government that listens, acts, and delivers tangible results, with emphasis on creating opportunities, strengthening collaboration among stakeholders, and ensuring every resident feels heard and valued.
“Hassano represents a new level of leadership, one that listens, acts, and delivers. My vision is to create opportunities, strengthen collaboration, and ensure that every voice is heard and valued,” he added.
Supporters of the aspirant described the movement as one driven by the demand for progress and accountability at the grassroots, noting that Hassano’s approach to community development has earned him goodwill across the wards in Ibadan South West.
“This is more than a campaign; it is a movement for progress, accountability, and a better future for all,” the statement read.
Hassano urged residents of IBSWLG to support his bid, with a call for collective action toward building a local government that reflects the aspirations of the people.
“Together, let’s build the IBSWLG we all desire,” he said.
