Member representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, Hon. Dr. Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, has extended warm congratulations to the Olu of Igbo-Ora, HRM Oba Jimoh Olajide Titiloye Asoroolu V, on the seventh anniversary of his reign as the apex traditional ruler of Igbo-Ora.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, Hon. Adepoju described the Olu of Igbo-Ora as a father figure whose reign as the supreme monarch of Igbo-Ora has been characterised by peaceful coexistence, development and unity.
The federal lawmaker also extended his congratulations to the Igbo-Ora Traditional Council for their leadership and collaboration, which he said have resulted in the building of a cohesive community over the last seven years of the reign of the Olu of Igbo-Ora.
According to him, development can only take place in a society where there is peace and unity. He appreciated the Igbo-Ora Traditional Council for their synergy with governments at all levels, which he described as unparalleled and necessary for the growth of any developing community.
He, however, congratulated the entire sons and daughters of Igbo-Ora for their support for the monarch over the last seven years. He urged every member of the community to see themselves as one and also submit to the authority of the revered monarch for the growth, peace and stability of Igbo-Ora community.
The Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Federal Character also wished the monarch long life and sound health to continue to give meaning to the stool of the Olu of Igbo-Ora.
