The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has continued its Ward Stakeholders’ Meeting and Reconciliation Tour at Labamba Hotel, Oyo, as part of sustained efforts to strengthen party unity, promote reconciliation and consolidate grassroots structures across Oyo State.

The Oyo Zone meeting comes on the heels of the successful kick-off of the tour in Ogbomoso Zone, and is part of the party’s statewide strategic engagement across the seven zones of Oyo State.
The tour is designed to bring together ward leaders, local government executives, women and youth leaders, elders and other key stakeholders to deliberate on the party’s growth, address internal grievances and chart a united path forward.
Party leaders at the Oyo meeting emphasized that reconciliation and grassroots consolidation remain central to the APM’s vision of building a people-oriented and formidable political platform capable of delivering purposeful leadership to the people of Oyo State.
Speaking at the meeting, stakeholders reiterated their commitment to the Reset Agenda of the present administration and pledged to work assiduously towards strengthening the party at the ward and local government levels.
The party expressed profound appreciation to the Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barr. Bayo Lawal, for his leadership, fatherly role and commitment in leading the reconciliation tour across the state’s seven zones.
According to the party, Barr. Lawal’s presence and guidance have provided renewed confidence and direction, further demonstrating the commitment of the state government to inclusive politics and party cohesion.
Party leaders noted that the tour has continued to receive massive turnout and acceptance from members across zones, an indication of the growing strength and acceptability of the APM in Oyo State.
“As we prepare for the task ahead, our focus remains on engaging stakeholders, addressing concerns, and building a stronger, more united APM committed to the Reset Agenda,” the party stated.
The leadership called on all members to remain steadfast, loyal and committed to the ideals of the party, stressing that unity remains the party’s greatest asset as it prepares for future political tasks.
The Reconciliation Tour is expected to continue in other zones across Oyo State in the coming days, with all wards expected to be fully covered.
