…Ibadan Cruise TV owner ends fence-sitting, joins APM
A well-known Ibadan media personality and owner of Ibadan Cruise TV has announced his official entry into the Allied Peoples Movement, APM, in Oyo State, citing Agbaakin Benedict Akika’s grassroots mobilization and leadership as the driving force.
In a Facebook post, he declared he would “no longer be a fence-sitter.” He said he formally joined the APM family today under Agbaakin Benedict Akika after meeting him at his home.
He described Akika as more than a politician, calling him a renowned philanthropist, grassroots mobilizer, and a man committed to humanity through life-changing projects and charitable initiatives. He added that Akika is passionately working to realize Governor Seyi Makinde’s presidential ambition and Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi’s governorship aspiration in Oyo State.
“My political journey has officially and systematically begun,” he wrote. “I am hopeful that, through dedication, service, and commitment to the people, I will become a key holder of a political office in the nearest future.”
He also thanked The CyberProf International, Johnson Alabi, and closed with: “The journey starts now. APM all the way!”
The defection reflects Agbaakin Akika’s growing influence in consolidating opposition support for APM across Oyo State, as the party promotes its cassava logo and agenda across all 351 wards.
