Eid-el-Adha 2026: Hon. Akorede Congratulates Muslims, Calls for Stronger Community Bond

The Executive Chairman of Ibarapa North who is also the candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) for Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North State Constituency in the 2027 general elections, Hon. Lateef Adebare Akorede, has felicitated Muslim faithful across the constituency on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

In a goodwill message made available to journalists on Wednesday, Hon. Akorede congratulated Muslims on witnessing another Eid celebration, describing the festival as a period of sacrifice, love and total submission to the will of Allah. He prayed that the celebration would bring peace, joy and abundant blessings to every household.

The APM candidate also urged residents of Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North State Constituency to continue praying for the peace, unity and progress of the constituency as well as Oyo State and Nigeria at large. According to him, Eid-el-Kabir offers an opportunity for people to reflect on the virtues of compassion, tolerance and selflessness.

The Oyo State House of Assembly hopeful stated that the lessons of Eid should inspire citizens to strengthen the bond of togetherness and promote harmonious coexistence among people irrespective of political, religious or ethnic differences. He added that sustainable development can only thrive in an atmosphere of unity and mutual understanding.

While appreciating the people of the constituency for their continuous support and encouragement, the politician reaffirmed his commitment to the advancement of Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North State Constituency. He noted that collective efforts and shared vision remain essential to achieving meaningful growth and development in the area.

“I heartily felicitate Muslim faithful across Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North State Constituency on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration. May Allah accept our sacrifices, answer our prayers and bless every home with peace, happiness and prosperity,” he said.

Hon. Akorede also enjoined residents in Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North to remain law-abiding during and after the festive period.
