The Action Peoples Party (APM) candidate for Kajola State Constituency, Hon. Gbenga George Adetunji, has appealed to constituents to rally behind his candidacy, pledging to be a selfless voice for the people at the state assembly.
Speaking to supporters, Hon. Adetunji said the trust of the people would translate into effective representation that prioritizes their welfare and dignity. He described himself as a natural human rights advocate committed to standing for the interests of ordinary citizens.
“Your readiness to make your truly selfless son your mouthpiece will undoubtedly pay off,” he said. “I will stand for your cause, protect your dignity, and work to make life better for every average Kajolite.”
Adetunji urged voters to move beyond traditional party loyalty and instead consider the character, competence, and commitment of candidates.
“Let’s move beyond ‘this is my forefathers’ party, so I must vote whoever they present.’ Vote for character, competence, and commitment to the people,” he stated.
He concluded his message with the rallying cry, Ileri Oluwa!, a call for faith in God’s plan and collective action for progress in Kajola.
The APM candidate has been engaging communities across Kajola, outlining plans focused on youth empowerment, infrastructure, healthcare, and accountability in governance.
