Alhaji Hassan Bello Pledges Inclusive Growth, Accountability in bid for Ibadan South West Council Seat

Ibadan South West Local Government Chairmanship aspirant Alhaji Hassan Bello, popularly known as ‘Hassano’, has declared his intention to run for the Ibadan South West Local Government council seat, promising to deliver purposeful leadership anchored on service, unity, and transparency.

Hassano said his aspiration is driven by a commitment to impact and a clear understanding of the needs of residents across the local government.
“Leadership is not just about holding a position,” Hassano stated. “It is about service, vision, and impact. I am prepared to bring purposeful leadership, unity, and development to Ibadan South West.”

The aspirant said his agenda rests on creating economic opportunities, strengthening collaboration among community stakeholders, and institutionalizing transparency in council administration. He stressed that inclusiveness would define his approach to governance.

“Hassano represents a new level of leadership, one that listens, acts, and delivers,” the statement read. “My vision is to ensure that every voice is heard and valued in the development of our local government.”

Hassano described his entry into the race as “more than a campaign,” calling it a movement for progress and accountability. He noted that his background and track record reflect dedication and integrity, qualities he said are essential for driving growth at the grassroots.

Political activities are gaining pace across Ibadan South West ahead of the forthcoming local government elections, with aspirants intensifying consultations and grassroots mobilization.

Observers say Hassano’s declaration adds a new dimension to the contest, as residents continue to demand credible and people-focused leadership at the council level.
