Yesterday, Hon. Olakunle Akinsete joined the incoming Governor of Oyo State and his longtime Egbon, Boye Nation, on a visit to Ogunpa Market in Ibadan.
The engagement provided an opportunity to connect directly with traders, residents and other members of the community while listening to their concerns and sharing ideas on the future of grassroots development.
Ogunpa Market, located within Ward 8 of Ibadan South West Local Government, remains an important commercial hub and a vital part of the economic life of the constituency. The visit further demonstrated the importance of taking governance and political engagement closer to the people.
Hon. Akinsete’s participation reflects his continued commitment to grassroots engagement and his belief that meaningful representation begins with listening to the people at the community level.
The warm reception during the visit also highlighted the growing political engagement across Ibadan South West as stakeholders, supporters and community members continue to discuss the future of the constituency and Oyo State.
