The candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) for Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency for the 2027 general elections called on the Muslim Ummah and residents of the state to remember Oyo State in their prayers, especially regarding security concerns and the safe return of the school children kidnapped in Orire community recently. According to him, collective prayers and support for security agencies remain necessary in overcoming insecurity across the country.
The technocrat cum politician also appealed to Nigerians to pray for peaceful political engagements as the country gradually moves towards another general election season. The Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Federal Character prayed that the forthcoming elections in the country would be conducted without violence, bloodshed or crisis, adding that the stability of Nigeria should remain the priority of every political actor and stakeholder. According to him, sustainable development can only thrive in an atmosphere of peace and mutual respect.

He prayed for divine intervention and expressed hope that the nation would soon overcome its present challenges for the benefit of the masses.
The Ibarapa-born lawmaker also noted that his annual Eid support initiative through the distribution of rams, bags of rice and cash gifts worth N15 million to selected Muslim faithful across Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency was aimed at supporting beneficiaries during the festive season.
