Community leaders and residents described the gesture as timely and impactful. They noted that the distribution reflects a leadership style focused on understanding the realities on the ground and responding directly to the needs of the people. By coordinating through local ward structures, the exercise ensured that the items reached households equitably across Kajola’s communities.

Hon. Adetunji, who is contesting for the Oyo State House of Assembly seat representing Kajola State Constituency in the 2027 elections, said the initiative is part of his commitment to service, sacrifice, and closeness to the people. According to his team, the Sallah outreach is one of several grassroots engagements aimed at addressing immediate needs while strengthening trust between the representative and the constituency.

Supporters point to his consistent presence in the constituency and his focus on practical, people-centered interventions as reasons for growing goodwill. The distribution has been welcomed as an example of leadership that prioritizes accessibility and direct engagement over rhetoric.

Residents across Iseyin, Ilero, Okeho, and other parts of Kajola highlighted the importance of having a representative who remains connected to the grassroots and responsive to everyday challenges. Many described the effort as a step toward building greater unity and progress in the local government.

As political activities build toward 2027, the outreach is seen as a reflection of the vision and commitment that underpin Adetunji’s campaign.
