Honourable Tunde Oluyedun has congratulated Hon. Abimbola Adekanbi, Gubernatorial candidate; Hon. Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, Oyo Central Senatorial candidate; Hon. Dhikirulai Adedeji Olajide, Oyo South Senatorial candidate; and Hon. Shina Peller, Oyo North Senatorial candidate, on their emergence ahead of the 2027 elections in Oyo State.
In a statement issued Thursday, Oluyedun described the lineup as a strong representation of experience and commitment to public service across the state. He said the candidacies give Oyo residents credible choices for leadership at both state and federal levels.
“The emergence of these individuals reflects readiness to serve and a focus on delivering for the people. I believe their track records position them well to address the needs of their constituencies,” Oluyedun said.
He also appreciated Governor Seyi Makinde for his role in promoting unity and stability across the political space, noting that the governor’s leadership has encouraged inclusiveness and dialogue among stakeholders.
“Governor Makinde has continued to create an atmosphere where progress and collaboration take priority. That stability benefits everyone as we move toward 2027,” he added.
Oluyedun called on party members, stakeholders, and residents to support the candidates and focus on issue-based campaigns centered on development and people’s welfare.
