Prince Tunde Bello Oluyedun, an Ibadan icon, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja, Arusa 1, on his appointment as Chairman of the Traditional Council of Obas and Chiefs in Oyo State.
Oluyedun acknowledged the efforts of previous administrations, noting that Governor Akala attempted to inaugurate the council but was unsuccessful, and the subsequent progressive era failed to achieve this feat for 8 years. He credited Governor Seyi Makinde for making it happen, stating that God has used him to accomplish this milestone.
The Olubadan’s appointment is seen as a significant development, promoting unity and cooperation among traditional institutions in Oyo State. The council’s inauguration marks a new chapter in the state’s traditional governance structure, with the Olubadan serving a two-year term.
