Honourable Abiodun Adekunle Isola, popularly known as Baruwa, has emerged as the consensus candidate for the Oyo State House of Assembly, Ibadan South West Constituency I, following the party’s internal selection process.
The decision was reached after extensive consultations with party elders, leaders, and stakeholders across the wards in Constituency I. Party officials say the move is aimed at strengthening internal cohesion and presenting a united front ahead of the 2027 elections.
Baruwa is regarded as a grassroots mobilizer with strong ties to the communities within Ibadan South West Constituency I. His involvement in local initiatives and consistent presence at ward level were cited as key factors that earned him the endorsement of party members.
