We wish to bring to the attention of the good people of Oluyole Local Government and all members and supporters of the APM that we have noticed that someone is currently parading himself as the consensus candidate of the APM for the Oluyole Local Government Chairmanship election.
For the avoidance of doubt, no candidate has been officially announced or confirmed as the APM Chairmanship candidate for Oluyole Local Government.
At the meeting held last Sunday between the Governor and the leaders of Oluyole Local Government, the Governor clearly stated that he would personally look into the matter and communicate his decision to the leaders after due consideration. He also made it clear that the person eventually picked would be formally announced.
As of today, none of the leaders has received any official communication from the Governor confirming or announcing a candidate. There has been no subsequent meeting with the Governor where an APM Chairmanship candidate for Oluyole was officially announced.
Furthermore, there has been no legitimate gathering or meeting attended by osiec where he officially announced anyone as the APM consensus candidate for the Oluyole Local Government Chairmanship.
Therefore, We urge everyone to disregard any individual or group claiming that a consensus candidate has already been selected for the APM Chairmanship seat in Oluyole Local Government. Until there is an official announcement through the appropriate channel, such claims should not be accepted as factual.
Let us remain calm, united, and respectful of the party leadership and due process. Oluyole belongs to all of us, and we must protect the peace, unity, and integrity of our political family.
