Egalitarian Hammed Owolabi Ishola, popularly and politically addressed as Lamosagacious, has congratulated Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade and Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen on emerging as the consensus candidates of the PDP for Ibadan North and Lagelu Local Government Areas respectively.
Lamosagacious, who was the Central Youth Coordinator for GSM’s Re-election and an impenitent advocate of Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration, described the emergence of both leaders as a reward for loyalty, service, and commitment to the ideals of good governance.
In a statement made available to journalists on Sunday, he described Hon. Olufade and Hon. Kamorudeen as tested and trusted grassroots mobilizers whose records speak for them.
“The choice of Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade for Ibadan North and Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen for Lagelu is the right step in the right direction. These are men who have worked tirelessly for the party and for the people. Their consensus is a clear signal that PDP is ready to consolidate on the gains of the GSM administration,” Lamosagacious said.
As an apostle of good governance, he noted that the emergence of credible candidates at the local government level will further deepen development and bring government closer to the people.
He urged party faithful in both Ibadan North and Lagelu to rally behind the consensus candidates and work for total victory in the forthcoming local government elections.
“I call on all GSM foot soldiers, youth leaders, women groups and stakeholders to close ranks. This is the time to show unity and deliver Ibadan North and Lagelu overwhelmingly for PDP. The people deserve continuity of good governance,” he added.
Lamosagacious reaffirmed his commitment to mobilizing youths across the state to ensure that the vision of Governor Seyi Makinde is sustained and protected beyond 2027.
