Accord Gubernatorial Candidate for Oyo State, Hon. Kunle Busari, has felicitated with Muslims across the state on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, urging residents to embrace unity, sacrifice, and compassion in their daily lives.
In his Eid Mubarak message released on Sunday, Busari described the festival as a reminder of the values of faith, obedience, and selflessness exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim. He encouraged the people of Oyo State to use the celebration to strengthen communal bonds and support one another.
“Eid Mubarak to the good people of Oyo State. May this Eid-el-Kabir bring peace to our homes, unity to our communities, and renewed hope for a better future. As we celebrate, let us remember that our strength lies in standing together, regardless of tribe, religion, or political affiliation,” Busari said.
He prayed for continued peace and progress in Oyo State and Nigeria, and called on citizens to celebrate responsibly while extending kindness to the less privileged.
Busari added that his vision for Oyo State is anchored on inclusive development, where every citizen feels the impact of good governance and social welfare.
Eid-el-Kabir, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, is marked worldwide with prayers, charitable giving, and gatherings with family and friends.
