Hassan Adesodi Olaoniye, who is the Special Adviser Media and Publicity to member House of Representatives representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, has celebrated Hon. (Dr.) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju on the occasion of his birthday.
Hon. Adepoju, who is the Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Federal Character, turns a year older on Friday, January 19.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State, on Friday, Olaoniye described Hon. Adepoju as a truly exceptional leader who is ready to go above and beyond for his people.
“Today, we celebrate the birth of a true servant, a father figure, a lawmaker that makes a difference, one that is ready to go above and beyond for his people, and one whose style of leadership has chartered a new course for the development of not just Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency but Nigeria as a whole.
Appreciating the technocrat cum politician, the SA on Media to the lawmaker said his appointment by Hon. Adepoju marked his involvement in mainstream politics and that Hon. Adepoju’s inner drive to always want to serve others has made the experience worthwhile so far, noting that Ibarapakan has become a political doyen and a trailblazer in the Nigerian political landscape by giving the youths the opportunity to test their ability in governance.
According to him, Ibarapakan has implemented innovative policies that are setting a new standard for development in Nigeria.
“In the last election, we asked for a responsible and responsible lawmaker, and we got a truly exceptional leader in Hon. Adepoju. Today, of all days, is yet another moment to appreciate the good people of Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North for giving Ibarapakan this mandate that has brought about unprecedented development in Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency.
“I am happy today not because I am one of his aides, but because Ibarapakan has given meaning to representation, and it is a thing of joy that our agitation for purposeful leadership has materialised, and this standard is what we must all strive to maintain for the collective development of our beloved region,” he said.
While wishing the lawmaker good health and longevity, Adesodi expressed that the proposed programmes of Hon. Adepoju for 2024 will have a lasting positive impact on the lives of the constituents in Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency.
