The Ibadan South West Local Government Lesgislative Arm under the able Leadership of Hon. Adewale Adelodun, the Leader of the house, has extended warm congratulations to the executive chairman of Ibadan South West Local Government, Hon.Kehinde Adeyemi Akande, and his Vice Chairman, Hon Tajudeen Adigun on the occasion of the 1st year of second term anniversary in office.
In a statement signed by the Leader of the House, Hon.Adewale Adelodun, the legislative arm commended Ambassador Akande for creating a conducive environment that has fostered effective collaboration and synergy between the executive and legislative arms of the council.
He said, “Today, we celebrate unprecedented achievements of 1 year of dedicated service to our beloved Ibadan South West Local Government. Hon. Kehinde Adeyemi Akande, your leadership has been exemplary, and we are grateful for the support and cooperation you have extended to the legislative arm.
Speaking further on behalf of the Legislative Arm, the Leader expressed appreciation for the chairman’s commitment to good governance, noting that his leadership has brought about developmental projects such as drilling of boreholes in ward 4 and 5 and provision of solar street lights which will be commissioned on Tuesday May 27th, 2025.
The leader appreciated the visionary leadership of Hon Akande, which has enabled the local government to make significant strides in various sectors. Your support for the legislative arm has been invaluable, and we look forward to continued collaboration and partnership. He noted
