Students Community in Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency are rejoicing as the construction of state-of-the-art Lawn Tennis and Basketball Courts at Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology nears completion.
This landmark project, championed by the Honourable Member representing the Federal Constituency, is an indicator to the administration’s unwavering commitment to empowering the youth and promoting sports development in the constituency.
This project aligns with the Dr. Anthony Adebayo Adepoju’s broader agenda to provide world-class infrastructure and opportunities for the youth to excel in sports and other co-curriculum activities. The courts will not only serve as a hub for nurturing young talents but also foster unity and healthy competition among students.
The project is expected to have a profound impact on the constituency, providing a much-needed boost to sports development and co-curriculum activities. As the Students of Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology eagerly await the completion of this project, they remain grateful to their representative for his tireless efforts in bringing development to their doorstep
Dr. Anthony Adepoju has also undertaken several initiatives to promote education in his constituency. He organized free holiday classes for senior secondary school students across major towns in his constituency to boost academic performance. He also distributed academic instructional materials like exercise books, mathematical sets, and school bags to over 10,898 students in 21 public secondary schools. Furthermore, he facilitated the construction of blocks of classrooms in five principal communities, namely Igboora, Idere, Ayete, Tapa, and Igangan. Currently, he is constructing a state-of-the-art public library in Igboora to enhance access to information and support research.
