Ibarapa Central PDP Women Wing Drums Support For Olusola Adeleke.

Ahead of the local government election, the women’s wing of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibarapa Central Area has drummed support for Olusola Adeleke, the Chairmanship Candidate of the party.

 

The female group in a statement made by the Women leader, Mrs Oladeji Rasheedat on Wednesday at a meeting held in Igboora confirmed the endorsement of the party’s candidate for the election.

 

Women across the ten wards of Ibarapa Central Local Government turned out in large numbers to grace the endorsement meeting at Methodist Grammar School, Oke Agogo, Igboora.

 

Oladeji described Olusola Adeleke as well-respected and highly regarded based on his relationship with the people in the communities and the political party.

 

“I am excited with the turnout of our women across the wards, the campaign has started, we should give our total energy to extend our wings to all corners of the community and mobilize people for Sola Adeleke.

 

“Adeleke’s antecedent has demonstrated his industrious capacity as a sole administrator who can coordinate the council affairs, the people and resources.

 

“He can be trusted and has proven in all ramifications that he is fully prepared for the task. The time is now to garner all resources and ensure that Olusola Adeleke is elected as the next Council Chairman in our local government,” she said.

 

Oladeji also added that the Chairmanship of Adeleke would be more appealing to the people.

 

 

Speaking with the women at the meeting, the Campaign DG, Yemi Gboyega equally encouraged all party members to guide and validate their permanent voters card, said that it is the only strategy to win the election.

 

In attendance at the meeting were stalwarts of the party such as Hon. Sola Fakorede, Hon. Yemi Gboyega (Campaign DG), Alhaja Fasilat, Hon. Rasheed Okunlola, Mr Akingbade Akinlolu, Elder Kolawole Olanrele (Great mother), Elder Samuel Eyinade (Elejire) and host of others.
