The Forum of Oyo State Supervisory Councillors has sent heartfelt greetings to the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) Chairmen in Oyo State, wishing them a peaceful and blessed Ramadan and Lent fasting period.
This gesture is a demonstration of the cordial relationship between the Forum of Oyo State Supervisory Councillors and ALGON Chairmen, who have been working together to promote grassroots development in Oyo State.
The Oyo State chapter of ALGON, led by Chairman Sikiru Sanda from Egbeda Local Government, has been at the forefront of promoting local government administration and development in the state.
As the Muslim and Christian communities in Oyo State observe the holy months of Ramadan and Lent, the Forum of Oyo State Supervisory Councillors urges everyone to use this period to reflect on the values of compassion, forgiveness, and unity.
“We extend our warmest greetings to our esteemed ALGON Chairmen and the entire people of Oyo State as we mark these significant religious events,” said the Forum.
“May this period bring us closer together and inspire us to work towards a more prosperous and harmonious society.”
