The Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) on 17th of May, 2025 honoured Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, Executive Chairman of the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), at the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo Stadium, Oke Ado with the prestigious Most Distinguished Ibadan Indigene Award.
As the head of Oyo SUBEB, Dr. Adeniran has demonstrated exceptional leadership in enhancing educational infrastructure and services in Oyo State. Recently, he oversaw the release of results for the computer-based tests conducted for teacher recruitment, setting a minimum cut-off mark of 50%. This move showcases his commitment to maintaining high standards in education.
