Islamic preachers have been admonished to be as bold as lion and fears no one except the Almighty Allah in their deliveries. This was contained in a birthday congratulatory message personally signed by the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States; His Eminence Alhaji Dawud Makanjuola Akinola to the Chief Imam of Offaland Sheikh Muhiydeen Hussein to mark the anniversary of the Imam’s birthday.
The Islamic leader said any preacher worth his onions should be able to hit the nail on the head during his sermons not minding whose ore is gored according to the directives from the Almighty Allah in line with the teachings of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH). He further said it was only the bold preachers that could bring the necessary change required to make the country a better place for all.
Aare Akinola while eulogising the boldness, bravery and tenacity of Sheikh Muhiydeen Hussein described him as a trojan horse who combined spiritual power with God’s given wisdom. He further described Imam Offa as a great unifier within Islamic religion in Yorubaland while charging other preachers to emulate the virtues of the Chief Imam of Offaland.
His Eminence used the opportunity to pray that Almighty Allah grants him for long life filled with excellent health and continuous grace.
