Saheed Oladimeji Owonifari’s Annual Ramadan Lecture at the prestigious Mapo Hall.

The event emphasized unity and peaceful coexistence, with notable attendees showing solidarity with the host. Sheikh Yunus Teliat Olushina Ayilara II, PhD, Grand Chief Imam of Ogbomoso land, delivered an Islamic discourse focusing on the significance of unity, love, and peaceful coexistence in society.
Ambassador Taofeek Oladeji Arapaja, National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), represented by Hon. Akeem Ige, served as Father of the Day. Other dignitaries included Hon. Dare Adeleke, represented by Hon. Adeleke, PDP Leader; Hon. Ademola Ige, Chairman of the Local Government Pension Board; Prof. Dahud Sangodoyin, Oyo State Commissioner for Energy; Chief of Staff of Oluyole Local Government, Honourable Azeez Babalola; Personal Assistant to Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta State, Arc. The annual Ramadan lecture, organised by Hon. Owonifari, traditionally brings together Islamic scholars, political leaders, and members of the public for spiritual reflection, guidance, and discussions aimed at promoting harmony and moral values during the holy month of Ramadan.
