It was a celebration galore in Awe town of Oyo when the retired Director of Finance and Supplies, Ibadan South West LG Elder Adebayo Omololu Awobode and his loving wife, Deaconess Awobode hosted a massive party that attracted a mammoth crowd of enthusiastic supporters, colleagues, Friends, Family members and well-wishers who came from near and far to celebrate the goodness of God in the life of a father,mentor,boss,colleague,humble, dedicated, selfless and a man of God who just retired from Oyo State Local Government Service Commission
The event, which took place in the heart of Oyo Town, at Awobode House Awe and well attended by many people from the Local Government, neighbors and church members was a celebration of Elder Adebayo Awobode’s dedication, selfless and love to the people
The party featured music, traditional dance, ewi, tand speeches, with the celebrant thanking God Almighty who made it possible to be alive to retire and for the grace to end well after 35 years of meritorious service to Oyo State, appreciating the people for their support,love. He therefore prayed for more meaningful years for himself and good health to eat fruits of his labour.
In their separate remarks the wife of the celebrant, Deaconess Awobode and his son Mr Kayode Awobode emphasized that elder Awobode is a responsible husband and father who is dedicated and committed and has never for once disappointed them
Further more, alhaja Salau Olatoyosi, the head of Local Government Administration, Ibadan South West LG and other colleagues, church members, neighbor and family member, described Elder Adebayo Awobode as a very supportive, humble kindhearted, peace loving and always ready to render assistance in making sure everyone is happy.
The party was well attended by dignitaries from across the state,massive turnout was a testament to the celebrants’ humility,selfless, positive and meaningful impacts on the lives of many people.
