… Approves Expanded Monthly meeting with Local Government Workers
The monthly prayer session of the Ibadan Southwest Local Government was attended by the chairman of the council, Councillors , Supervisory Councillors and Special Assistants. The chairman acknowledged the vice chairman of the council, Honourable Tajudeen Adigun in his speech The prayer session featuring a powerful address by Akande, who charged workers on the importance of faith and belief in the workplace. He emphasized that these values are essential for a productive and successful work environment.

“Akande stressed that commitment and dedication to tasks are crucial for achieving excellence in the office. He encouraged workers to approach their duties with a sense of purpose and responsibility, knowing that their efforts contribute to the overall success of the organization.
In addition to the monthly prayer session, Akande approved the introduction of a weekly briefing meeting with workers. This new initiative aims to foster open communication, discuss ongoing projects, and set goals for the upcoming week.

The weekly briefing meeting will provide a platform for workers to share ideas, address challenges, and receive feedback from management. This will promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and teamwork, ultimately leading to improved performance and job satisfaction.

The Head of Local Government Administration (HLGA), Alhaja Salaudeen also urged workers to prioritize their health and wellbeing, emphasizing that “health is wealth.” This call to action encourages employees to take their health essentials seriously, recognizing that a healthy workforce is crucial for productivity, job satisfaction, and overall quality of life.
